5. Recognition of Appreciation
Action:
Recognize former Board member and County of Santa Barbara Supervisor Naomi Schwartz for years of service to BEACON
6. Fiscal Year 2005-06 Additional Annual Staff/Consultant Agreements
Action:
a. Authorize Executive Director to retain the services of Federal Lobbyist, Howard Marlowe and Associates for a fixed fee of $10,000.
b. Approve Annual Audit Services, Lutz, Law & Erlbaum for $2,800
7. Auditor-Controller Recommended Budget Adjustments
Action: Requires 6/10 vote
Authorize the Auditor-Controller to adjust budgets as projects become active by transferring appropriations from account 2301-Other Projects to separate 23XX accounts to allow project-specific accounting
8. Goleta Beach Demonstration Project
Action:
a. Receive Verbal Update on FEMA Funded Project
b. Ratify Executive Director’s Decision to Approve a Time Extension for the State Coastal Conservancy Grant Agreement
c. Authorize the Executive Director to approve amendment #3 for $14,000 to Moffatt and Nichol contract to monitor Goleta Beach Demonstration Project.
